Jean-Christophe COURADIN - The Emotion of Simplicity
Couradin was a wood lover since 1979.  He discovered the precious woodspecies from Guyana where he starts carving looking for primary forms, original and timeless volumes with soft lines.  The sensuality of its curves imposes their energy, absorbing and returning light.  At the same time, he also creates unique high quality bronze sculptures which show amazing patinas.
Jean-Christophe Couradin was born in 1961 in Dijon. Initially, a cabinetmaker, he perfected his training at the ‘Ecole des Beaux-Arts’ in Grenoble (1989-1990), and began sculpting.  From 1990 until  today, he has exhibited many times in France, Switzerland, Great Britain, Monaco and the United States.
