Halil FAÏK is a great admirer of Aristide Maillol and Charles Leplae. He has a real devotion to woman, whom he idealizes with grace and a discreet sensuality.   His bronze and clay sculptures represent a unique moving delicacy as can be noticed by the fluidity of their forms, the refinement of their faces and the depth of their glances. His works are extraordinarily elegant and timeless!
Halil FAÏK, was born in Anderlecht (Belgium) in 1940, to Belgo-Cypriote parents.  He became a teacher of history and French in Brussels, and painted and carved as an amateur.  It is only in 2003 that he produced his first bronzes.  He exhibited them, encouraged by art lovers, in Brussels, Antwerp, Namur and Ghent. From 2003, he became internationally known, with exhibitions in Paris, Saint-Denis de la Réunion, Palm-Beach (US), Carmel (US), s’Hertogenbos (NL)…
